This year's Pōwhiri and Day 1 sessions will be held at Te Ara o Tāwhaki Marae - this the marae on the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) Hawkes Bay Campus in Taradale, Napier. We will provide return bus transport from Scenic Hotel Te Pania.

Te Ara o Tāwhaki Marae serves as a symbolic gateway and cultural focal point for the campus. Its name means 'the pathway of Tāwhaki', honouring a legendary figure who journeyed to the tenth heaven to attain the kete of karakia. Tāwhaki championed knowledge by bringing the kete back to earth to benefit mankind.
