Timing: 1.00 - 5.30pm
Registration fee: $500

Lead Faculty: Dr Elliot Mackenzie
Workshop supported by Applied Medical

Join this peer to peer workshop to gain a comprehensive understanding of vNotes – the latest innovative approach in the treatment of benign gynaecologic pathologies. This workshop includes the following:

  • Online didactic lectures reviewing indications, clinical literature, anatomy and instrument placement
  • Hands-on practicum with lifelike Simsei ™ tissue models
  • Guidance and feedback from expert faculty
  • Continued education and support after workshop completion

This workshop is designed for experienced consultant gynaecologists and urogynaecologists skilled in both vaginal and laparoscopic surgery, who wish to develop proficiency in vNOTES.

Please note, the following criteria apply for those interested in attending. As we only have six places available, in discussion with the lead faculty, we may come back to you for further information.

  • The workshop is best recommended to those surgeons currently performing approximately 20 or more hysterectomies per year. A split of 15 laparoscopic and 5 vaginal, would be indicative of the volume of major gynaecological operating providing a good platform for adding vNotes to your skill set.
  • You wish to incorporate adnexal surgery, e.g. salpingectomies, oophorectomies or ectopic pregnancy into your vaginal approaches.
  • You wish to incorporate uterosacral suspension in your vaginal approaches to prolapse.
