Dr Katie Antony

MD, MSCI, FACOG, FRANZCOG
American Board Certifications: Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Obesity Medicine

Kathleen Antony is an associate professor of maternal-fetal medicine with the University of Auckland and works clinically at Middlemore Hospital. She has worked at the University of Auckland since 2023, and she has worked clinically at Te Whatu Ora Waitematā, Te Toka Tumai, and (since 2025) Counties Manukau.

She completed her training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2012 and in maternal-fetal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in 2015. From 2015-2023 she worked as an assistant professor and then associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide care for the pregnant people of Aotearoa. 


Dr Sarah Corbett

Ngāti Rangiwewehi
BHB, MBChB, FRANZCOG 

Sarah is a specialist Gynaecologist who has completed her fellowship in complex gynaecological laparoscopy and minimal access surgery, and was awarded an AGES (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery) qualification in 2016.

She has worked at Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau since the start of her training in 2009, and for the last 8 years as a specialist. For the last 7 years she has co-led the complex endometriosis team at Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau.

Her passion and previous research interest is in improving access to obstetric and gynaecological care particularly for Māori and Pasifika women. To that end she has led the way in her hospital with the use of outpatient hysteroscopy to treat polyps and small submucosal fibroids under local anaesthetic,  which led to her current project looking at bringing hysteroscopic and colposcopic clinics into community settings.

Sarah is Chair of He Hono Wāhine.

 


Dr Tom De Greve

Dr Tom De Greve was born in Rome (Italy) grew up in East Africa. He obtained his medical degree from the Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and graduated as specialist obstetrician gynaecologist from the Ghent University, Belgium.

He trained as gynaecological oncologist in Pretoria (South Africa), at the QCGC Brisbane. In addition, Tom has received 13 months of general surgical and colorectal subspecialty training at the QE2 Hospital in Brisbane.

Currently Tom is working as a consultant gynaecological oncology at Te Toka Tumai in Auckland and is completing the CGO requirements. He is an active member of the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Group (NZGCG) where he has chaired the SLN in cervical cancer working group. He offers an international view on care.


Professor Cindy Farquhar

CNZM, FRSNZ, MBChB, FRCOG, FRANZCOG, CREI, MPH, MD

Cindy is the Postgraduate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Auckland and works as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, and fertility specialist at National Women’s Health.

 Cindy trained in New Zealand and in London. Cindy has led the Cochrane Gynaecology and Fertility group since 1996. She is also a clinical trialist. She has also been the Co-Chair of the Cochrane Board 2014 to 2018. 

Cindy is also the Dean of Research and Policy for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2024 Cindy and her team were awarded the Beavan Medal. 


Dr Niki Dykes
MBChB, FRANZCOG, CU

Niki Dykes is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has completed subspecialty training to become an accredited Specialist Urogynaecologist. During training she gained valuable experience in the multidisciplinary management of complex pelvic health conditions including mesh complications.

Niki has been involved in several international Urogynaecology committees and has spoken at national and international conferences on topics relating to Urogynaecology. She is on the RANZCOG Aotearoa New Zealand Urogynae Working Group and works in the public and private sectors in Gynaecology and Urogynaecology.


Dr Steve Knights

Steve Knights is an Advanced RANZCOG Trainee based in the Bay of Plenty. Steve has been in the role of Trainee Representative for RANZCOG over the last two years. Steve's areas of interest are access to colposcopy, and diagnosis and non-tertiary management of gynaecology cancers.

Wendy Dallas-Katoa

Kāti Mamoe, Waitaha

Wendy Dallas-Katoa brings a rich background in the health sector to her role as Kaumātua for RANZCOG and He Hono Wāhine. 

Wendy has over 35 years of experience in the health sector in a variety of roles, representing Māori interests in health on a number of boards and organisations including: South Island Māori Cancer Leadership Group - Cervical Screening, National Breastfeeding Association, Mana Whenua ki Waitaha Charitable Trust, Pegasus Community Board and Te Kāhuio o Papaki Ka Tai -PHO Primary Health Care Māori Advisory Group (Chairperson).
