Waipapa Marae
This year's Pōwhiri and Day 1 sessions will be held at Waipapa Marae. We will provide return bus transport from Grand Millennium Auckland.
Waipapa Marae is on the grounds of Auckland University, it is a focal point for Māori life at the University, benefits and supports the entire University community and formally welcomes visitors to the campus.
The whare whakairo – Tāne-nui-ā-rangi – represents all major tribes, unlike many meeting houses on tribal marae.
