This year's Pōwhiri and Day 1 sessions will be held at Te Ara o Tāwhaki Marae, this the marae on the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) Hawkes Bay Campus in Taradale, Napier. We will provide return bus transport from Scenic Hotel Te Pania.

Te Ara o Tāwhaki Marae serves as a symbolic gateway and cultural focal point for the campus. Its name means 'the pathway of Tāwhaki', honouring a legendary figure who journeyed to the tenth heaven to attain the kete of karakia. Tāwhaki championed knowledge by bringing the kete back to earth to benefit mankind.
